In order to find the best apple juicer for your needs, you should look at a number of factors before selecting the right one for you.

Apples fall under a hard fruit category as opposed to juicing soft fruits like strawberries or watermelon. So you should consider how powerful the juicer is. The higher the wattage, the more powerful the juicer will be and the more easily it will efficiently juice apples.

I would also recommend looking for a wide chute size so you do not have to chop the apples into as many pieces. This will be less prep time for you. In our guide here, the widest chute size is 3.5 inches in diameter. Theoretically, you could juice whole small apples in a 3.5-inch chute, though most juicers would still benefit from slightly smaller pieces and some apples are bigger than 3.5 inches and will require some cutting down to size.

Look for strong cutting blades preferably made from stainless steel. These will more easily cut through hard apples and give you durability.

If the apple is starting to rot or has mold then it’s time to throw it away. But if the apple is in otherwise good condition, then you can go ahead and juice it.
